At school a couple friends and I were looking through sketch books, this one student had her book full of quotes and illustrated them in some way. I decided over my christmas break that I was to do the same. I started buying a sketch book on sale (5.00 CDN), markers and paper. It's not about how many I get done but how happy I am doing this activity. I wanted to work on my ability to get a quick sketch of something and still have a clue of what it is.
Here is one of my favourite quotes:
" The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God, because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature."
I will be posting pictures of several pages of this sketch book throughout this break.
